We had our family dinner there with approximately 20 guests and the service was stellar. We had organized a lunch there, during COVID times and they were fully prepared for the event. Food was delicious although at times it took awhile to be served. Nice quaint atmosphere and in the evenings, on weekends, they do live music. I was also there for Valentine's day 2020, and it was the perfect place. The staff stay in constant contact with you regarding events and reservations. Take your partner and/or your family, you won't regret it.

Highly recommended! We came for both dinner and breakfast. Pierogis have thick dough, well seasoned. Many vegetarian/vegan options as well. And incredibly affordable for the quality of food served. Service was also efficient.
Spend some great time here with a friend few days ago. Been served by charming girl called Martynka. She speaks fluent English so there was no problem with dish explanation for my friend who is not polish. Great polish cuisine to try - especially love dishes with duck. Moderate price for Poznań city centre. Good drinks and wide range of alcohol. Kind and helpful staff. Great recommendation for dinner with friends and family especially foreigners who want to try polish cuisine.
I had a very difficult time getting anyone in Poznan to recommend a good polish restaurant to try... though there are options, everyone i spoke to could not think of them. I enjoyed my meal here tremendously - I had a farm chicken, with mushrooms and cauliflower (prepared more intricately than just a bowl of mushrooms) in a light sauce that was delicious! I asked for a Polish wine, (yes they make wine) and was surprised with a wonderful white to go with my meal. To finish, a crumble based on oats that was also delicious. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly and was easily one of my best meals out in a long time. The preparation stayed true to the ingredients and nothing was overly sweetened or salted, (seemingly favorite tricks of ‘western’ cuisine). Lovely - in a word.
At our first trip ever to Poland we started in beautiful Poznan and we’ve had our diner at Pod Niebieniem. It was a big surprise to experience so much hospitality and friendliness of the waiter Piotrek and the quality of the food was just perfect. The menu was extensive, there was something for everyone. During diner the waiter checked on us a couple of times and he took time for some small talk, that was nice. We’ve been to many places around the world, many restaurants, Pod Niebieniem will always be one of our favorites.
The look and feel of the restaurant was misleading. My first impression was average. But the food makes up for it, for sure. The soups were delicious. And despite the fact I don't like the żurek served as cream, I have to admit it was great. Only thing I'd change is the egg - poche egg and soup? Not a very good combination. The main courses were absoultely great. Burger was tasty, with fantastic fries. Beef was a masterpice. Chicken nicely served and tasting delicious. In general: it was great. The prices ain't cheap - but hey, this is Poznań, old square - it's not that expensive either.
Our first meal in Poland, and it was tasty. Mushroom soup, and Pork chops with mashed potatoes, with a unique sour kraut cooked with bacon fat.
Have a breakfast with french toast with seasonal fruits. Food was very delicate. Coffee was okay. I ordered cafe latte with extra shot as i like it strong but it was not enough. People are super friendly.
