A really wonderful experience. The guide spoke good English and was very pleasant. The mines are extraordinarily big, and there are many informative and amazing chambers that the tour will take you through. Would highly recommend spending a day here.

Highly recommended for a visit. Superb English speaking guide. Very informative. Be prepared for a long walk down and a lot of steps! There is a lift that you catch to take you back to the surface, although it is a bit cramped, its better than walking!

Not to be missed, well worth the ticket price, this is an amazing experience. The guide we had was knowledgeable and spoke at a good place. We were lead deeper down into the mine with the history being described as we went. Do wear layers though as the temperature fluctuates the deeper you go into the mine, from cool to cold. Comfortable footwear is also a must as you'll be doing lots of walking and using stairs. Also allow for most of the day to be here as it's a fair drive from Krakow and there's a lot to see in the mines that you don't want to rush through.

Amazing experience. Must see! Kilometers of underground corridors, mining infrastructures and chapels. It is a breathtaking view knowing that all od that was built with human hands. There are experienced guides speaking other languages. The whole trip takes around 3 hours. The temperature inside is around 14-16 degress do it is adviced to wear warm and comfortable clothes. Tourist track is safe for any age, but you must be aware there are multiple staircases and long corridors to pass. Not adviced for those who don't feel comfortable with enclosed spaces.

Big mines. Loved the tour. They have a beer shop too underground. Lots of history and even a small chapel underground and a lake. Highly recommended to visit

This is a truly extraordinary experience. Amazing what people managed to build over the past centuries underground. Quiet some distance to walk, so take your comfy shoes. On a hot summer day outside, the roughly 18 C down here were perfectly pleasant.

It’s goooorgeous inside! I loved it and would definitely recommend- you can easily do Auschwitz and the salt mine in the same day (plus it will be a bit uplifting after the horrors of the concentration camps) You have to walk down some stairs when you go in but it’s actually quite easy. The only reason why I cannot give it 5 stars is I didn’t like the guide. He spoke way too quietly and it felt like the tour was a bit rushed (expected to last 2 hours, I was done in 1h20 and that includes a long wait for the elevator to go back up)

Best experience. Our English Tourist Guide Magda explained it so well
