I did the trip from Gdańsk to Hel with Żegluga Gdańska and I was great. I don't understand the negative reviews. The normal price is 50 złoty but they made me pay 40 złoty instead despite me asking the normal price. This place is the one to buy tickets then you have to walk 600 meters to the boat. Arrive early to get a seat outside. The best is to be a the front of the boat outside, but there's no seats there. Only issues: You cannot buy a ticket online and they accept cash only.

Good opportunity to see the sightseeing from the fairy
It is a ferry company based on the Quay just below the Green Gate. It offers cruises on the Motława River and the Baltic Sea. Hel and Westerplatte cruises highly recommended. You can also get there by bus but boat trip allows you to see more interesting sights. Please beware the commentary is in Polish and German only, no English which is very disappointing. Payment at the ticket office by cash only, but there's an ATM and exchange office nearby. The ticket office and cruises schedule's can be found at water-level on the quayside.#letsguide, #poland, #gdansk, #visitgdansk, #familydayout, #oldtown, #ferry, #greengate, #cruise, #motława, #motlawariver, #balticsea, #hel, #westerplatte.
Many people had to stand the entire cruise, it looked like there were not enough seats for everyone. They shouldn't sell tickets for the cruise if all the seats are already taken. Also the commentary is only in Polish and German. Really?? No English? Ridiculous!
Channel-sea cruises tickets available here.
River boat, it was nice and cheap but the commentary was not in English.
we bought return tickets to Westerplatte with them because they advertised a ferry every hour, yet they left us hanging there. we wasted and hour and half waiting for the ferry to arrive before finally giving up and ordering a taxi. there were a few more people in the same situation as us.
Cash only!
