It's a wonderful zoo. Not too small. Not huge. A diverse selection of animals. A great way to spend an afternoon with family. The giraffes section was closed. And there is other construction going on at this time. No notification of such. Which is why I dropped a star. But it was wonderful fun.

I was impressed by the scale and variety of Zamość Zoo. By and large many of the animals seem happy with enough living space for their comfort. However, the reason I can only give four stars is because of the lions' and tigers' indoor enclosures. They are absolutely tiny and pitiful; one of the tigers was in obvious distress, with very little room to pace about. This, combined with a large amount of wasted real estate in the area with the aquarium area opposite, makes me wonder why the empty floor space couldn't be/hasn't been utilised for the benefit of the wellbeing of these lovely cats. Besides this, the rest of the animals seem to be comfortable so I have no further qualms. The facilities are good, toilets are clean etc.

Beautiful, many animals, clean environment, nicely decorated, animals look healthy, the place is huge, with almost every type of animal from all around the world, great place to bring your kids and spend a nice Sunday. I loved it

Quite nice zoo, good for a 2-4 hours trip. However, during the weekend it is good idea to be on place at opening. Being later means you don’t have any parking spot over there (parking is very small) and queues are enormous. Additionally, parking spots are very narrow and There is a risk that someone will hit your car even trying to open doors. Prices are quite well set. There is quite small number of toilets. At the end, zoo looks as underinvested. I understand that this one is smaller than ones from Wrocław or Gdańsk, but seems animals and their living areas look poor and sometimes a little bit neglected.

Great idea to take kids and educate them about different animals.

It's a little messy right now as they rebuild big piece of the zoo. Will get back for sure after construction is completed!
