Cosy little restaurant serving traditional Polish and Jewish dishes. They were happy for us just to have lots of small dishes so we tried a wide range including pickled herring, perogi, fried cheese, chicken liver pate and jellied carp. All of which were freshly prepared and very tasty. On leaving there was a great view of the castle lit up with a full moon overhead.

One of the best restaurants in Kazimierz Dolny. It is situated close to the market square. Some exclusive parking spaces are also availble for the diners. It serves Jewish cuisine. The portions are adequate. I liked the fish soup. Unfortunately the portion varies over time, and perhaps the quality too. Usually I could not finish the soup because of its mammoth size but it was not the case last time I visited.

The worst place I have ever visited with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Get the high chair yourself, may as well go to the kitchen and cook our own lunch. The two staff present could not get off their backsides to greet or show us to a table. So bad we left.

Not what I expected. This restaurant was recommended to us and didn't live up to my expectations. My wife and daughter enjoyed their meal although nothing special (edit: a few hours later and my daughter is suffering from stomach pains). I took one taste of the goose and it tasted dreadful. It tasted like the cook had dropped half a jar of nutmeg in the dish. Potato wedges were supposed to be roast potatoes and clearly they are straight out of the frozen food section of the local supermarket. Mizeria salad was good. Yesterday we had an amazing meal in Bajgiel restaurant for a whole 10 PLN more. Don't be conned by these amateurs there's much better places to choose from in Kazimierz Dolny.
I love the food. I can recommend the grilled goat cheese salad, lakes (potato cakes), tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the grilled chicken salad. Other favourites are cold borscht and fried trout with roasted almond flakes. The service is great and really prompt.
As English speaking it was no problem at all to order excellent food and cold beer. Cosy friendly little restaurant.
