The museum was very fascinating! I never knew much about Pierniki however now I do. It was very modern and had some interactive sections. Was fun to read. And the English translation was great. Was very inclusive. Very easy to get to and well worth the visit.

I did the gingerbread making course here which was a lot of fun. The instructions were in Polish which I don't speak 1 word of but I was able to follow things pretty easily. After that you do a tour but there was lots of information boards in English and at the end you get to eat the fruit or cake of your labours!

We went there only because the other gingerbread museum was booked out. And this for a reason. It's not a catastrophe but let's be honest. Kopernik is a household brand, its products widely available throughout the country and well... nothing special really, especially if you compare it to their craft hipster competitor. Same thing with the museum.

What an amazing experience to learn how spices from my homeland landed into their bread and rest is history #gingerBread

I had little expectations going to this place but I don't regret spending the time here The exhibition is rather small but I think they have special tours that are probably more fun. You can get this musuem as part of a 5 museums ticket for the price of 60zl It's very informative on the topic and targeted at both children and adults, the interactive part could be a bit boring for an adult, for instance the explanation on how ginger bread is made are pretty basic. The remarkable part for me was to see the moulds used to make the models on the bread, some go back to the 15th century Expect a lot of kids around

Didn't expect this to be interesting, to be honest. I was wrong. Takes around 30 min to go through everything.
