A few years ago when they were starting I went for an interview there. I had my B.A. in English literature and I thought it would be a great experience to work amongst books of all sorts and be able to copywrite and gain experience in marketing etc. I spent a full week there, I am a quick learner so I had great results i.e. lots of books up, right, in a short time. The two other girls working there were extremely shy, in fact, would not open their mouths... I thought it was strange but I didn't realize they were actually scared of the micromanaging nuts of a \priest boss\. Long story short, he didn't like my style, aka I actually had a voice, so he let me go after my first week, no notice, no pay, no reason, no LAW. I didn't give a damn back then, was young and didn't see my future there long term anyway but now that I work in HR I just want to warn people, don't make this mistake, go work in McDonalds, local kiosk or a strange bar beside the road but not there! And If you do, and you get the same treatment, take him to court where he belongs.
