Nice and interesting place. I recommend a visit. It is a large cultural and family theme park. The park promotes the ethnic and historical areas of Eastern Pomerania, known as Kashubia region. There is a large hotel with a car park on-site. I recommend an excellent regional Kashubian kitchen with a unique taste of local dishes. Food is cooked in a wooden hut over an open fire. In September 2015, I enjoyed that lovely food! There is a small local brewery on-site as well. You may taste fantastic craft beer. The Center for Education and Regional Promotion in Szymbark houses several exhibits made by local artists and craftsmen. Especially wooden sculptures and handmade handicrafts refer to the traditions and culture of the Kashubia region. The centre houses an interesting curiosity made by local woodcutters. It's a Pseudotsuga menziesii board (Douglas fir). Board thickness 2,36’’. Weight 2425,08 lb. Length 40,28 yds (123,83 ft).

As excellent park with well reserved Polish history especially about world wars. A must visit place if one if in Poland or in Gdasnk. There are plenty of things to see. The Upside down house, the Longest single piece wooden table which is in Guinness World Records book, the bunkers of world wars (where there is an amazing live light and sound show which gives an impression of the times during war) , the train and engines on those time, the prisons and Canadian house. There are some facts about war and its effect on Poland which were really astonishing and tragic. It was really worth visiting this well maintained place. There is a restaurant, a hotel and a souvenir shop too which are quite convenient. Don't miss it!

Interesting experience both for adults and for children. We had a great day at the museum, and enjoyed some local beer from its brewery

Nice place. Very stage feeling in this upside down house. Maybe better to visit during summer.
