You can learn a lot about mining- good exhibition, interesting tour guide visit underground. All recently renovated and still being expanded. Definitely worth a visit while in Walbrzych.

Really interesting museum where you can know the history of coal mining in Poland and in Silesia. There are a lot of mining equipment, most of them are historical. The guide tells intefesting stories of coal mining and shows an underground tunnel. It is also possible to see an artistic expositions. I recommend to visit. The price of ticket include visiting artistic expositions.
Exelent history lesson of Silesian mining. 2 hour guided tour.
Interesting place, one of the biggest monuments of Walbrzych
Nicilely renovated and a great feel of what the communist mining used to look like. Now largelybrenovated you can see a lot of interesting machinery and information about the mine history. Worth a stop. Downside, no food/drinks on site available.
Nice music venue with plenty of parking space.
The guide was really unbelivable (Bogdan?). He used to work there and everything he said was full of passion. Probably best guide I have ever had in Poland. Respect!
Fascinating range of exhibits and variety of historical presentations. Good guides. Worth a detour to see
