Lovely hour of music along the theme of Christmas carols, great intimate area, no need for electronic amplification and good acoustics. Only complaint - there is four fights of stairs from ground level to the Chamber and this was a real struggle for my disabled wife, no sign of a lift anywhere? If she had been a bit more disabled or more tired we would have failed to get there.

I would give four stars for the actual performance if it could be separated from the evening as a whole. However on arrival into the extremely cold room we were greeted by some sort of comedian who was not particularly funny nor was he particularly good at being a host. The music that was playing as we waited was some sort of awful pop music...hardly in keeping with the evening! There seemed to be totally different charges for the tickets that we overheard, as we waited for the performance to start. Our ticket price which we bought online was more expensive than that of the people arriving without a pre-booked ticket. The concert started five minutes late. There was not a word said before t they started. No 'Hello', 'Good evening' or an introduction of any description. The musicians are obviously very accomplished but some of the pieces they played were painfully too short. In particular, given the setting and the enormity of the subject, the Schindler's List theme tune was barely more than a couple of minutes and justice was not done to this beautiful piece of music. The orchestra were obviously in a hurry to go to a party or something as they finished ten minutes early meaning that we had been charged to see only 75% of the advertised playing time. At the end not a word was said and they left the room. This was a present from my partner and we were both really looking forward to it, however we both felt that we were sold short. Would not recommend.
Huge problems trying to find venue if you dont know Krakow . Evening also ruined by rude and officious man checking tickets.
