First, the positive aspects. Interesting for people who are interested in the cities history in detail and for that, a really nice place. Second, the staff at the entrance only spoke Polish and didn't even understand the words 'where...buy...tickets'. At the tourist info they told us that the tickets can be purchased at the other side of the building...ok. Finally entering the building we saw that you could also buy tickets downstairs, where we wanted to go first. Most of the information and videos were in Polish language. An audio guide would be helpful or a guide in general. All in all, we cannot recommend this museum. You get to know more of the cities history with a guided tour through the old town.

Interesting place and exhibits. Gives you a good glimpse into what life was like in Krakow hundreds of years ago. Takes about an hour and a half to see everything. I went on a Thursday, but found out when I was leaving that admission is free on Tuesdays. Book your tickets early online since they vet sold out rather quickly.
This is a museum for which I booked a day in advance hoping this meant I will enjoy it alongside like-minded people interested in the history of the great city of Krakow. It s regrettable I had to share my experience of this place with not one but two hordes of at least 30 kindergarten kids each. Why do that?? Just have hours for kids and hours for serious people. I don't want to be judgmental but those kids only ruined the experience of what could have been the best museum I've ever seen. Tired of reviewing this place in a serious manner, you make a mockery of the fine people who built it by going after profits and giving zero attention to people who are interested in the exhibits
Great Museum. There was a lot of investment and it was worth the money! Beutifully done. There is so much you can learn here. There are late admissions. Great to see in a cold evening. Its very warm inside. I do recommend this place.
An absolutely fabulous newly built museum out of nothing. Not too many artefacts, some layers of dirt would seem to create hardly any environment for entertainment; alas, it is a fabulous and well tuned museum for modern public, children included. You can spend there an hour and a half easily or even longer if you with to check different multimedia.
Wonderful place to visit. Fascinating historical background into Krakow and also Polish history! Well worth a visit.
One of the best museum to visit in Krakow. This is an underground museum in the heart of city centre, near hard rock cafe. It has been built under cloth hall, entry fees is 21PLN per adult. Here you can see whole period starting from 14th Century. You will get to see the roads, streets, way of transportation and jewellery, which were there in 14th century. It took 5 years to complete the excavation and construction of this underground museum. Must visit place in Krakow.
Very nice maintained and designed, with many digital display, but not very informative. Many videos and infos in Polish, only some with English. Was expecting more detailed and special history information.
