Dear Sirs and Madams We would like to present the SYMFONIX ORCHESTRA (www.symfonixorchestra.com) to you. Please visit our website and listen to the recordings. Our ensemble, composed of 31 musicians (primarily playing string instruments, with nine other carefully selected instruments), is extremely comfortable performing many forms and styles of music. As a group of well-educated musicians, we have mastered a broad classical repertoire. In addition to this, we perform tangos, film themes, folklore-based music and swing and jazz standards. All this is done in appealing timbre, intriguing and unique arrangements. We place great emphasis on the artistic value of our performances. The main figure in our ensemble is its chief: the conductor, composer, arranger, pianist – pIOTR KOMOROWSKI(www.piotrkomorowski.pl). who arranges and composes especially for SYMFONIX ORCHESTRA. We offer concerts devoted to a single music genre or, conversely, lots of different genres. Many themes originating in the grand piano music of our most famous composer – Fryderyk Chopin – have gained a new, orchestral, perspective. A significant part of the inauguration programme of the ensemble entitled “Nuevos Aires” are tangos. In our repertoire we have both the most popular and the new ones, which have been composed especially for SYMFONIX ORCHESTRA. The ensemble can perform as a solo group, presenting an interesting performance without soloists. (We already have soloists - instrumentalists as part of our ensemble) Moreover, a lot of our friends – musicians – vocalists - can join us, to make the concerts even more attractive. We would be happy to invite local soloists and accompany them during our concerts. We cooperate with renowned choreographers and dancers. We want all our concerts to become more shows or performances, rather than typical concerts. Performances during which there are various interactions between the performers and between the performers and the audience.
