Cool museum showing how life was in communist poland. Lots of nostalgia for people who experienced that life. Many items from all the different aspects of life and society. Only downside is that its a little bit small and can be quickly explored in 30-40 minutes.

This private museum is highly recommended for everyone interested in life under communism. It is not that big, but you can easily spend a good hour or more. A large collection of everyday items are on display. Very informative and interesting.
Nice little museum and very cheap (I think we paid around 25 zloty for the both of us. Student price) we took a free tour about the city during the communist area (it's great! Ask about it in the tourist office). The tour finishes right in front of the museum.
Cute little museum with good descriptions and layout. I recognized a lot of the items from my days of living in Poland as a child.
This is an amazing museum! The tour takes about 2h and it is totally worth it. You’ll get a very detailed insight of the life under the communist times in many aspects (fashion, housing, culture, politics evolution). There is also a reconstitution of an appartement which is very great -and once again, detailed-. When you’ve finished with the tour you can have a drink and a snack, and then head to the gift shop which is worth a go !
At first it was a little difficult to find the small door to this museum. We can keep our heavy outers while enjoying this place at front desk. Inside we can find a lot of precious and curious historical goods and footages. Especially monochrome films related to Polish culture history. From a big window we can see the old building and signals checking the explanations details.
A small time-machine museum. Located in the heart of downtown, this small museum will take you back in time. It shows a bit how Poland went through the communist era. Not bigger than an apartment, easy access and with all items explained in Polish and English. The entrance tickets cost around 5 USD. The easiest way to get there is by city trains or buses. Worth visiting.
Small place, full of artifacts from the time Poland was under control of communists. I found tens of things I, my parents, and grandparents owned and used for so many years. And when you are done, stay in cafeteria and drink cappuccino made in the coffee maker from the sixties.
