This memorial is unfortunately not in a pedestrianised area yet the impact of the work itself is haunting. The monument made of dark grey iron set in a train wagon, the unmarked crosses thrown and huddled together is as stark and grim as the history of the victims of the Soviet era.

Wonderful and very moving. A must see
Gorgeous monument a short walk from the centre of Warsaw. Rather strange location though right in the middle of a main road opposite the IBIS though I guess this location was intentional. Very well made and worth a visit.
I FELT VERY SAD. THESE PEOPLE NEED AS MUCH RESPECT AS POSSIBLE. IT WAS BEUTIFUL
Another excellent historical monument to more of Polands history - of some of their sadder times.
Sculptural group of very special and very attractive as well as symbolic! Far dak old town but well worth a visit even though it is practically in the middle of a busy street. @gargio76
