Great looking statue of a great Polish writer. My children and wife really enjoyed it and after we returned home we read some of his writing.
Very good statue. I saw it a couple of times in my trip to Wroclaw and it always looked very still and firm, as good statues should be. Didn't move at all! 10/10
He was a bit quiet. Great listener. It is wheelchair accessible and friendly. There is no wheelchair accessible parking or bathrooms nearby. #accessible #historic
Very good monument. Very steady. Very stoney
Aleksander Fredro (20 June 1793 – 15 July 1876) was a Polish poet, playwright and author active during Polish Romanticism in the period of partitions by neighboring empires. His works including plays written in the octosyllabic verse (Zemsta) and in prose (Damy i Huzary) as well as fables, belong to the canon of Polish literature. Fredro was harshly criticized by some of his contemporaries for light-hearted humor or even alleged immorality (Seweryn Goszczyński, 1835) which led to years of his literary silence.
A great meeting point in the centre of Wrocław's quaint market square
Monument, which is according to the locals not a good place to meet someone. The relationship with that person will not be for long if you do. So locals meet on the other side of the place. Additionalley, his feather is stolen from time to time.
