Wonderful views from the top, over all the city, in all directions. There's no lift/elevator, so I'm afraid you actually have to climb up all the stairs. It's not so difficult, since they're wide and well decorated. Its access is included in the ticket for the University Museum, which also grants you the visit to other historic segments of this lovely 18th Century building. Price? not expensive...

The tower itself offers some fine views over the Oder and to the surrounding islands, but it also contains a small mathematical exhibition full of sundials and astrolabes and chronometers that many will find interesting. The climb to the summit is not challenging.

You can't just pick the tower. The cheapest ticket is 12 zł for a tower plus one \hall\. That's how they try to push unpopular options with the tower. The woman at the counter was rude. The view from the tower is not great: only 1,5 sides out of 4 do not have construction in sight. Moreover, the hall that I paid for was under construction, half of it in dire condition. All in all, could be a lot better. Shame on Wrocław University for treatment and rip-offs. Better go to Wieża Kościoła Garnizonowego, it's 5 zł and it's higher.
