A beautiful place not only for excursion but also for walks. The castle is in the city centre so it is easy to reach. There is no entrance fees for the castle. There is fees only to visit specific rooms or museums inside the castle. From the castle, the hustle and bustle of the city lying next to the Vistula river is visible.

Really beautiful historical place worth seeing. Make sure you go inside, there are many exhibitions! The only inconvenience is to get the tickets - they are at the info center and it's on the right when you enter the gates, so go there first, then to the castle itself not to waste time.

Very nice with a very beautiful point to overlook the river. Would recommend coming near sunset although be advised that the church will likely be closed to visitors at such a time.

The Wawel castle is very interesting, it is quite large, it has great places to rest during the tour. Deciding to the dragon's cave can be a bit chaustrophobic, it's cool to see the dragon let out fire. get ready for photos

Former seat of the kings of once one of the mightiest countries of Europe. Definitely worth visiting. A variety of tours is offered and everyone will find one to their liking. Thousands of historical artefacts including wonderful tapestries. Make sure you schedule a couple of hours and take a guide or at least this gadget that contains audio descriptions of particular places in the castle. One of the most interesting places of historical interest in Poland.

Amazing castle, loved the square and all other attractions around. One best places in Krakow for sure, very beautiful and preserved.

This is a must if you're in Krakow! Probably one of my favourite features of the city, between the castle, cathedral, museum and the view, I couldn't imagine why you wouldn't want to visit!
