Good food for good value. The ribs were very tender and flavourful and the plate of appetizers were decent. Recommended place. (The picture is dark so it seems that the ribs were burnt, but they were cooked perfectly)

If you don't want to venture into the square and are looking for something different then you must go here. Nothing is rushed so be prepared to wait but that's what we like when in holiday. It's a tiny restaurant with a great local atmosphere. The meat was out of this world.

First time I ordered online. Ribs were just fantastic! Then I came to the restaurant and I like it so much! I told myself – finally I found my favorite restaurant in Krakow. Then I came with my friends to show them what I found. We came at noon, 12pm, and surprise-surprise, they are closed. Even on Google maps and on their web site it written they open at 11am. We were told they actually open at 2pm and we should expect pork knuckle an hour later. And my last experience, I ordered ribs online again and this time they were disgusting. The meat was very not fresh, even a bit yellow-grey with an awful taste. I hope there is some explanation for this.

Probably the best bang for your buck in all of Krakow. 2 racks of ribs for 10usd and the house special is the pork knuckle (hamhock). This meal will take you a while so take your time. The decor was perfect.

I went to Restauracja Golonkarnia at 6 PM without a reservation but the owner was kind enough to let me sit at a reserved-at-7 PM table. I ordered a knuckle in old polish style and I was not disappointed. The meat is very tender and the skin is not greasy at all. The price is quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great little local restaurant, great food and very good value for money. The food is mostly based on chicken or pork. Don't be in a rush because the food takes time, but it's worth the wait. Our experience was to an extent ruined by the two couples in the corner by the window who thought they were alone in the restaurant, very loud. But this was not the restaurants fault. Can recommend if you're looking for something off the beaten track.
