Returning a car to Hertz downtown Warsaw can be confusing. Why? Because the place where you return the car and the place where you drop off your keys are not the same. And there are few signs to show you the way. Here is how to return your rental car to Hertz downtown Warsaw. 1. Drive to the underground parking garage for the \Tarasy Zlote Shopping Center\. There is a big sign above the entrance that reads WITAMY WELCOME . (There is no signage for Hertz until you take your ticket and enter the parking garage.) 2. Enter the parking garage and Drive down to level -3. There will be signs along the way pointing to Hertz. 3. At level -3 look for cars parked underneath Hertz signs. Find a free space under one of the Hertz signs and park your rental car. Leave your parking ticket in the car and lock it. There is no Hertz representative there . You'll have to find them to return the keys 4. Now Look around for a Hertz sign pointing towards the elevator . The sign will say \HERTZ.. Hertz office Hotel Mercure P0\ 5. Take the elevator up to floor \0\. Exit the elevator and immediately look for the exit doors to the shopping center leading outside to the street 6. When you are outside, across the street from the shopping center look for the front entrance to HOTEL MERCURE. 7. Enter the lobby of the hotel and look to your left. You will see a HERTZ sign. 8. Walk under the sign and you will see the HERTZ desk. 9. If you arrive after they close There is a key drop box at the desk See the attached pictures

Prepare to have your expectations lowered! Hear questions such as \have you booked?\, \Did you receive a confirmation?\ \Are you sure?\ Dispite calling the telephone number and speaking to staff at the booth 24 hours prior. We booked a automatic transmission car, called ahead to check it would be ready for us we got there and having the staff aurgue with us that it was somehow our fault we had to wait an hour for someone to drive a car over from the airport. No compensation offered for the delay, just quibbling that it was somehow not their problem. Staff then didn’t do a full check of the vehicle for any marks on the car which lead to another disagreement when trying to return the car in Olsztyn. I wouldn’t call this place a scam. But just make sure to purchase the extended car warranty like we did and make them to a full inspection of the car noting superficial scratches and be prepared to argue when returning the vehicle. Would not recommend.

This was my drop off location after renting the car from Hertz at Krakow airport. In Krakow the pick up was smooth, courteous and professional and the car totally met my expectations. However at the drop off my experience was extremely poor. Considering the location is in one of the busiest parts of Warsaw, it’s quite poor not to have any signage in front of the hotel to indicate where Hertz offices are. It is a guess game in the middle of the busy street in front of the shopping mall with ZERO signs and no dedicated parking spot for returning cars. After I managed to finally secure a public parking space in front of Mercure Hotel, I went inside and found the Hertz agent. He told me to drive inside the shopping mall at parking level -3 where he’d meet me to check the car. I was not happy as I had already spent a lot of time wayfinding etc and also had luggage so I asked if he could collect the return here and then just take the car to the dedicated parking himself. He said that he cannot leave the office here (having just said that he would meet me downstairs in the mall!!) and then after I insisted he went on saying that “maybe he doesn’t have a drivers license to take this car to the mall parking”. At this point of time I realized that customer service was not his priority. Shame for Hertz - beware as a completely useless office employee spoils your reputation at Zlota Street (Mercure Hotel) in Warsaw...

Chyba gorzej trafic nie moglam.. Jakosc auta straszna - zajezdzone maksymalnie. Czas oczekiwania na obsluge dlugi, pomimo braku kolejki. Radze inne wypozyczalnie.

Wg mnie to syf i dno.
