Avoid at all costs, they are running a small time scam that will try to take money fromy our even if you deliver the car in same condition. They give you a car in bad state, you deliver the car back without a problem, then they send you a email that you owe money for damages.

I rented a car from here a few weeks ago. There was a booking mishap that me and the helpful woman in the shop couldn't work out. For some reason my booking was cancelled without notification to me, so when I coincidentally called the shop before turning up in the morning, there was a scramble to get something organised upon realising the cancellation. Long story short, she was my saving grace that day, and saved me a tremendous amount of stress. The weekend for me and my friends would've been ruined if not for her. She organised a far better car for me at a hugely discounted price. Additionally, she even let me put a lower than normal deposit down (ie all that was available on my card), because I couldn't get my bank in my home country to co-operate. Top notch service - thank you very much (she knows who she is!).
I rarely leave reviews but this time I have decided to leave one. I am traveling a lot around the world, from time to time I am renting the car. Most of the time hiring car companies really push me to buy extra insurance, when I tell them I bought one from 3rd party, they are very rude, lying to me, and almost force to buy one from them. So I was little scared it will happened again. But it didn’t, the staff were very professional, I was impressed how quickly it was done, the same with giving the car back, fast, professional and no issues at all, so thank you for making part of my journey enjoyable. Really recommend.
We recommend and surely will be back! We rented a car for a weekend only, we've got an upgrade to the higher class and the option of the additional driver for free. The paper work was very quick and the person servicing us was very very kind. All necessary details (how to return the car) were well explained and we had no problems at all with it! The service is professional but it can happen they are tired due to long working hours.
We have planned a trip 05.10-07.10, 6 persons. We have reserved and paid for a 7 person car with automatic transmission in advance on Tuesday 1.10, 4 days before trip. So the Hertz company had enough time to prepare the car we reserved. However when we came to office in Warsaw Chopin Airport to pick up the car: - Car wasn’t prepared, we needed to wait for a half an hour to pick up it, even though we came at time mentioned in our reservation; - When car was ready it appeared that this car wasn’t that type we reserved, it was big 9 person car with manual transmission. - When we got back to person at the desk we were informed that this is the only option they can provide us with for 6 persons; - We needed to rent 2 cars instead of 1 to fit in all people; - We rented 5 person car in Hertz for the same price as 7 person car because our reservation was prepaid - In order to cancel reservation due to the fact the car they provided isn’t the car you’ve reserved, you need to write long mail with details to the customers support and wait unknown amount of time to get your money back; - Customers Support doesn’t work on weekend. As a result: - We lost 2 hours of our time on weekend; - We spent more money ( 600 zl more) than planned due to negligence of Hetz workers. - We got additional driver option free instead of 26 zl. Comparing to what we lost this is just nothing.
*Do not rent with Hertz car rental at the Warsaw Chopin International Airport in Poland location* They turned me down claiming my international licences was not good when in fact it was good everywhere else.
