Currently there's no point to go there, place is closed because of restoration. Information about restoration is placed only on the door inside the church so keep in mind that if you'll decide to climb that hill, only thing you'll find at the top will be the disappointment itself. Separate thing are the strange people in SUV's and their crazy driving style on the gravel road at the top of the hill - you won't feel save as pedestrian.

I had a nice walk to this monastery from the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, about 2 hours. The Camaldolese monastery is located within a big park that you can trek. The atmosphere here is very calm and peaceful, must be because of the prayers constantly offered. The brothers are hermits so visitors from outside are very limited. On normal days, only men are allowed to enter and you have to dress properly, no shorts, no sleeveless tops. The doors are only open at certain hours everyday: 8.00, 8.30, 9.00, 9.30, 10.00, 10.30, 11.00, 15.00, 15.30, 16.00 Sometimes the door may not open because maybe the brothers were occupied, but just wait if you have time, the next hour it may open. Women are allowed to enter only on particular special days. Please refer to the website, there is information about it. There is parking just below the monastery, but there is still a steep walk up for about 100 meters, and then gravel walkway, so maybe a little bit difficult for wheelchairs; possible but difficult.
It was long walk up there and that is okay, but stil rich people in big new Audi and BMW think they have right to drive on this place. And when you come to the top of is only open for men.
Amazing, almost mystical place where monks pray and contemplate in isolation and silence. It is located in a forest, surrounded by nature. I recomend to follow one of the routes leading to monastery from zoo or przegorzaly castle to fully enjoy the day.
Women can visit the monastery on twelve days during the year! The Monastery is a Camaldolese priory in Bielany near Krakow. The monastery is located on the 326-metre (1,070 ft) Silver Mount. It consists of hermitages and the Assumption of Mary Church. Stunning views everywhere.
Nice and very calm place
Useless... waited 2 hours to open and could not get in due to short pants. And totally misogynyic as they don't let women in at all except 12 days per year.
