Excellent food! I ordered the half duck with red cabbage, dumplings, and a roasted apple. The duck was perfectly cooked, with crispy skin, but still tender and juicy inside. The red cabbage was a bit sweet and a bit sour, which I wasn't expecting... but I liked it nonetheless. I was not expecting a roasted apple with red currant sauce, which made for a nice dessert. My waitress was very friendly and prompt in her service. I will eat here again for sure!

Oldest restaurant in Boleslawiec(?)...11 century. Delicious goulash, steaks and Lwuwic beer ( red stripe is a little stronger) and local sweet red wine with black currant flavor. Good service, good food and relaxed pleasant setting.

Tooooo expensive, sad and dark interior, dusty, weak local beer, I WANT SOUP! Hard to find anything positive

First I gotta say I loved the interior design. Hints of pottery everywhere and Bolesławiec’s history really caught my eye. The service was.. hmm just ok. Would be so much nicer if the waitress said something more than “ok” and “of course”. (I am Polish so there was no problem with the language barrier). She did a very poor service. Still tipped her well and she didn’t even say good bye or wished us a great day.. the food itself, I had the Pierogi and my grandmother had placek węgierski. The placek was really good, however the side cabbage was way too hard and not really delightful. My pierogies were just fine.. waay to much cheese thus a little bit too dry. Had to dip them a lot in the sour cream - I can’t believe that’s how Magda Gessler wanted it. Moreover, the menu was very difficult to read, also they seem to have a pretty poor dish selection compared to other places. I wouldn’t go there a second time. If there’s one thing I would change: the service. Could be so much better. The waitresses have the potential.
