My favorite go to shop when I am in need of a new hat or gloves. The staff is always so helpful and they even understand my very bad Polish. I can never just walk by the store front, there is always new merchandise to check out and try on. You won't he disappointed.

This is one of the oldest and in my opinion the best shop in Lodz. Yes, it sells quality leather goods but it sells much more besides including woollen and cotton hats as well. It's reputation though is on the quality of the leather goods on sale. What really makes Krokodyl stand out is not only the quality of manufactures but the excellent design of what is sold. Some of the ladies hats and coats are just superb. The staff are so friendly and the business is family owned and remains a great ornament to the city of Lodz. Whilst Poland is changing, shops such as this retain the best of traditional Polish quality with the design flair of the new. Whenever I am Lodz I call in and I always receive a warm welcome. My winter sheepskin hat from this shop goes with me whenever I am in Central and Eastern Europe during the cold weather. It was not cheap but nor was it expensive but it was wonderful value for money and even at minus 25 my head is warm and dry.
