I didn't manage to see a musical or opera on my visit - I arrived out of season - but there was a lovely little section set aside for children, where they could try out different outfits worn by the dancers. My two daughters loved it - thank you to the kind lady who worked there for giving them so much pleasure!
I went to the production of Halka, one of the operas in the Polish canon and was very pleasantly surprised. The production, albeit small scale, managed to impress through quality of orchestral and.vocal singing, will definitely be searching for more from this Opera House. The building itself is an architectural gem of breathtaking beauty, I wanted to take a hundred pictures of the place. The only downside was the location of the toilets, they are not marked as such, took me a while till I found one.
Very pretty and well decorated,historic and nice,I enjoyed visiting it few times.
Stunning opera house. We watched the Nutcracker here and loved every second of the experience.
