Not particularly friendly staff and no English menu but it was cheap and tasty!

Now this is a true authentic “milk bar”. The service is indifferent and the food tastes like somebody made it at home... but that’s what a milk bar is! You will not find a more authentic milk bar in Warsaw. The prices are amazing and the food tastes good. That’s all you need to know. I recommend everyone tries it at least once while you are in Warsaw. It’s part of the whole experience.

Love this kind of low cost food canteen. There is an English menu (at the counter) . If you speak a bit of polish, you get served faster?

Real old school authentic milk bar. Yes, the locals come here too. Unfortunately, there are too many rowdy tourists here. Please do everyone a favour and respect the place. There won't be many of these authentic milk bars left in the next 5 to 10 years.

While I did give it 3 stars as its not exactly fine dining, I would nonetheless highly recommend it! A small milk bar where you order at a small counter and then pick up your food from a hole in the wall (see picture). The food seemed to be traditional polish (dumplings!) and was very tasty indeed. Exactly the kind of "tourist but not touristy" experience you'd want in Poland! You can get two sets of meat dumplings and 2 drinks for around 36 PLN - so very reasonable indeed.

Gastronomical time machine. Welcome back to communist era Poland. Not the fancy one, but REAL one!

The food is very traditional, and probably the cheapest food around Warsaw. Very fast serving (3 minutes) and the portions are relatively large. Only bad thing to point out is that the technologie used at the cash register is old style and the line ups are terrible, it takes forever to get served.

The only good thing about this restaurant would be the proximity to the old town. Literally nothing else. Staff cannot speak english at all and is hostile towards the english customer. The price of the food (10zł) won’t ever make up for the poor quality. The food’s dry and lacks taste, and to add to that I got served food from yesterday’s. The concept of milk bar is great, and there’s lots of good ones, but this isn’t one of them.
