In 2003, the Warsaw Polfa was transformed into a company wholly owned by the State Treasury and from 2004 to 2012, it belonged to Polski Holding Farmaceutyczny S.A. (Polish Pharmaceutical Holding). On 19 April 2012, Polpharma S.A. became Polfa's new owner, as a result of privatisation. In the portfolio of the Warsaw Polfa there are almost 140 different medicines, which are distributed on the territory of Poland and exported to several dozen of countries all over the world.
