Fundacja Rozwoju Badań Społecznych (Foundation for the Development of Social Research, FuRBS) is a non-governmental organization focused on developing and promoting the use of social research and data analysis in social and economic life. Our goal is to keep social research and data analysis up-to-date with technological progress and changing social needs, while at the same time making them more accessible and understandable to the wider public. Our research and development work is focused on broadening the use of social research and data analysis in the practice of social life. The Foundation is especially interested in elevating the status of secondary data analysis and non-reactive methods , as well as widening their use in research practice. We provide consulting services related to the conduct of research and analysis in the field of social, market and evaluation research, as well as training services related to research methods and techniques, statistical data analysis and the use of analytical tools. We design and consult research projects and plans, research samples, research tools and data analysis plans. We conduct particular research steps as well as multi-stage, complex research schemes. Our team consists of sociologists and psychologists, researchers with many years of experience in the field of social, market and evaluation research, active academics engaged in teaching, publishing and conducting research. In the past ten years Foundation’s experts took part in or authored dozens of research projects, analyses, expert opinions and evaluations, working for public institutions, local authorities, NGO’s and businesses.
