Great atmosphere and brilliant exhibitions, amazing staff that will help you get the best of exhibitions, and also you can shop for books by local artists and posters from amazing polish graphic designers . Entry is free and everyone (with sufficient propriety) can enjoy the various contemporary arts and performances :)

This gallery is located smack in the middle of everything in old town poznan. While it might not meet the highest of expectations it does host a large variety of artists and interesting exhibition that everyone is free to enjoy at no cost. It is also the home to a strange contraption called the fotoplastykon.

Pros: Free to visit, you only pay if you want to see a special exhibition (photo gallery of a classic sculpture). Very interesting display of drawings on the ground floor and modern art at the first floor. Cons: Sadly not in English so you might miss the interesting installation about \Syrian lost class\ as at the first it looks like a giant metal wall lamp and you have to knee or bend over to see underneath (the instructions are only in Polish). I tried to find an interesting book to buy in the shop, but sadly nothing grabbed my interest. There should be a donation box as I would gladly leave few złoty. In summary: Worth a visit.
