If you have clear that you want cheap and polish menu , then this place can be perfect. For sitting is not so pleasant , so don't expect be treated like a king. The four stars is because in relation with the price(quite cheap), the food is very acceptable.

DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH or have English menus. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but good if you're needing a warm meal on the cheap. Make sure you have a translator app with you when you go. Also, you MUST clean your own table. Don't be a lazy butt & just leave them.
The prices are low, but the quality of food is not much higher. Most things on the menu are bland even by the already bland standards of Polish cuisine. The biggest reason to eat here, aside from the obviously central location, is to experience the traditional 'milk bar' style of Polish eating in a place with lots of authenticity and history.

Good milk bar. Food is cheap and well made. Typical polish cuisine.
2015 visit. Great find for inexpensive food. Young woman cashier spoke English and very polite. Food was good. Enjoyed zupa ogorkowa. Sign says BAR mleczny so it is a "milk bar". Not fancy at all but worth the experience.
Best pierogi with spinach ever! Plus you can sit outside.
Love the place, good, authentic, cheap Polish food in the very city centre.
