Beautiful architecture, gold plating on outside turret not expected. Wawel dragon took a lot of people by surprise breathing fire when they didn't expect it to. I'd read up on it so we at least were prepared. Well worth going to see.

The Cathedral is really stunning. Gathers the tombs of many important people of the Polish history. Mainly kings. Can admire paintings, sculptures, frescoes. The ticket is separate from the castle and is possible to add the audio guide. Which really recommend. Even because starts automatically as you walking around. The tower is available to visit as well and has massive bells and nice view from above. Unfortunately is not allowed to take the pictures inside.

The Wawel Cathedral in Krakow is Poland’s most important sanctuary. It hosted the coronation of almost all Polish kings and it is the burial place of many distinguished Poles.

Wawel Cathedral is quite beautiful inside and worth a visit.Visitors can go inside and see most of the altar, tombs and inscriptions. However, there is an additional charge to go in the tower and to see the Royal tombs. As there was so much to see we did not go in the paid sections but this is still worth a visit.Across from the cathedral is the museum which is poorly advertised and which again we did not visit. We visited many old churches in the old town none of which charged, so there is lots to see for a donation.

Wawel Cathedral will stun you with a detailed, rich and spacious interior. It is a must-see for anyone visiting Kraków for the first time, along with the Wawel Castle and the whole of the Old Town Square. Be advised, if you want to enter the Cathedral for a mass, you might have a questionable experience with people from the Cathedral. Last year Christmas Eve I went there with my fiancee for the midnight mass. Both the guard at castle gate and one of the cathedral workers pointed out the visiting time for tourists has finished. Luckily we were there with family from Kraków and were let inside in the end. However, I must say, being judged just because of the origin of my fiancee is our of place, especially by members of the church. I really did not appropriate it. Other than that, cathedral is a really nice place to visit, as tourist or for a prayer. Highly recommended.

The Kathedraal is okay to see, nothing special. The tickets cost 14PLN per person. I would not go again . The surrounding of the Kathedraal is nice to see. It's very beautiful.
