Worth a detour if you’re in the area to explore the other attractions. Explored the history of Podgorze with lots of visual enhancements. Some touchscreens as well but not all worked and English button didn’t work great in others. But everything else translated into English too. Covered under the Krakow card.

Great museum just after renovation. Quite small, but very interesting. Tuesday — free admission.

Great example of community museum. Very close attention to details, little artifacts, stories of ordinary people. A guided tour will be sentimental experience. Kids will enjoy amazing room in the underground floor. Forth a visit.

Fantastic local museum dedicated to fantastic part of Krakow(used to be a separate town)tells the local story by the carefully preserved and exhibited objects donated to a museum by locals.So-local museum run by locals but not only for locals.Definitely worth visiting .

Very interesting place, for the history of Krakow.... And not far from the last remaining parts of the Ghetto wall.....

It shows the history of the neighborhood and how it was developing over the years and how it suffered in the war. Unfortunately I couldn't see everything as they closed access to some areas by the schedule

Very positive experience. A mix of history, architecture and personal experiences served in an interesting manner. It's a bit off the beaten track which results in a more authentic experience. Start here and then go to see Podgorze having the context.
