Very simple, as any Franciscan basilica should be. But the stained glass OMG!! Behind the altar and above the door. Do not miss it. It is fabulous

The Basilica where Pope John Paul II practised his trade in the early days. Very lovely inside but quite small.

Beautiful basilica with really nice stained glass work of “God the Father”. Really nice details all round with and interplay between light and dark.

The church has stunning stained glass art. It also contains a replica of the shroud of Turin. However, you should avoid Mass times especially on a Sunday because you will not be allowed to take photographs or walk around the church to view its sculptures and art work.
