Forest School is a project run at Farma 69 where adults and children have unrivalled access to a wealth of information about the life of forests, the contributions that various trees make to the environment and traditional remedies that can be derived from their bark, sap and leaves. Fascinating!

A quaint place to stay - with friendly and helpful hosts. The house has cozy rooms, there's everything you need in the kitchen. From the meadow you have a great view over the landscape. We came as a small group of people from a big city to this quiet and secluded place to have a pause from everyday stress, and the place was perfect. Although it is secluded, it is no problem to reach it by car. In the small "medieval village", also built on the farm grounds, there's a market with a community of local craftsman every month (at least during the summer), where you can buy fresh bread, honey, pottery and more, try archery... and learn about slow food and more. We were lucky to be guests during this event. We didn't speak a word Polish (unfortunately), but English - or finding someone who could help a bit with translating - was no problem. There were also workshops available on the market (like pottery, mosaic or herbal knowledge). So it's worth to bring some time with you if you visit this place and also want to do some sight-seeing. The only thing I missed on that event was some live music with (maybe historic) selfmade instruments (and maybe the possibility to try or even make them in a woodcraft workshop, too). But the place is in progress and I think the host has many ideas already. There's much to learn about rural life.

Fantastic secluded location only a short drive to szklarska poreba, karpacz & swieradow zdroj! Peacefull and quiet, wonderfull night sky full of stars, a view that you can't get anymore in the city. We had a BBQ on an open fire in an authentic barn. Lovely owners nothing was too much trouble. They recommend a great pizzeria called U Bazyla only a 10min drive. Plenty of space in the wooden house with a spa shower. They have farm animals, geese, pony, sheep and very friendly dog called Masza as well as a cat. Big playground and lots of authentic wooden barns. A perfect getaway to the Polish mountains.
