That was a weird experience. Walked in during lunch time. Place was very quiet, I was seated quickly and given menu. It didn't took long for the waiter (like literally a few seconds) to stand in front of me and awaiting my order. Obviously I needed a couple minutes more... When I was ready, ordered a tea, got just a cup of hot water.. Had to ask for the tea bag as the waiter forgot. Then I got my barszcz with a croquet as a starter. The soup wasn't made in house for sure. Tasted like a powdered thing making you think it is what it should be.. the croquet was very fresh and delicious tho! As a main course I got potato pancakes with a sauce. The pancakes were nice and I enjoyed but the sauce didn't taste so fresh- had a bit of sour taste. After all when I was done the waiter rushed to give me my bill. I was shocked!!! I responded that I need my time, enjoy my tea, no rush needed (?!). I realised there was a birthday party in the room upstairs but c'mon... he wasn't alone in there! Generally speaking - service is below average. I was kind of accepting it and it was funny for me at the begging but at the end it became too much... Food is average. Depends what you order. I would not go back there.

Tak jak powinno być, po staropolsku smacznie z nowoczesnym podaniem. Było pysznie gorąco polecam.

WOW. W pierwszej kolejności chciałbym pochwalić obsługę kelnerską, pełen profesjonalizm, doświadczenie i życzliwość, a także subtelne nie narzucanie. Dawno z taką przyjemnością nie dawałem górki. Kuchnia staropolska, hitem kluski ziemniaczane twarogiem i skwarkami. Dobre pierogi, rosół ze swojskim makaronem. Niezbyt dobry a'la dewolaj. Krótki czas oczekiwania. W środku zabytkowego budynku ładna antresola. Czyste obrusy. Moim zdanie wymagają wymiany stoły i krzesła ze względu na niską estetykę. Będąc w Toruniu trzeba tu przynajmniej raz przyjść na obiad czy kolację.

Jedzenie bardzo słone, bez smaku. Trzeba było iść do baru aby zamówić jedzenie, gdyż nikt nas nie zauważył na tarasie na zewnątrz. Nie polecam.

Bardzo miła obsługa, jedzenie bardzo smaczne i w rozsądnej cenie. W czasie pobytu w Toruniu odwiedziłam kilka renomowanych restauracji ale żadna się nie równa z jedzeniem i miłą atmosferą jaką zastałam w zajeździe staropolskim. Polecam bardzo serdecznie :)
