The museum is great. I learnt many things about the history of Poland and the US (as it was the main destination of immigrants). I give \only\ 4 stars and not 5 because the museum, even though it describes migrations to and ethnic minorities in Poland in the Middle Age, doesn't talk at all about recent migrations TO Poland: Vietnamese people during the Communist era, Ukrainians, Georgians and Belarusians more recently, Polish people from abroad coming back after some years in London, Western European working in big corporations, etc. I think this part is necessary in such a great museum about the history of Polish migrations.

Check temporary exhibitions - they are really cool and you might extend your experience there. And book at least 2 hours to carefully dig into the story.

One of the best museums I visited. Museum is all about to tell you a story of the people and theirs further destiny, how life have changed. There is also decent history load what life looked like in Poland back than. Museum is free of charge each Wednesday, in addition provides almost free development classes for infants and children with music, games and interaction parent - child. You can get there with public busses or by car - parking is in front of the museum.

Brilliant exposition which takes you on a journey through Polish history and the reasons many people choose to emigrate. Very long, about 2h but very nice, well organised and modern

In-depth exhibition with a multitude of historical facts presented through personal histories, exhibits of historical objects and descriptions of specific phases in Polish emigration, events that caused emigration, statistics for emigration and the countries that Polish people immigrated to.

Very well kept museum with more than plenty of information on decades of immigration related history of Poland and its citizens - the displays are fun, interactive and well thought of.. as I have visited during the weekday in the lunch hours the place was practically all exclusive to myself and so Ive managed to take my time and truly enjoy the experience. For wholesome and information rich time be prepared to read a lot, there is also a lovely long wooden terrace, a cafe and a restaurant within the complex
