This a lovely authentic Japanese restaurant. This warm welcoming restaurant is well priced and situated just a 5 minute walk from the old town. The staff were very attentive and offered expertise opinion on each of our taste. I would recommend the tempura batter sushi, this is quite literally a game changer. As a big meat eater I was also advised to try the veggie option and I was not dissapointed with a dish full of flavour.
Initially, from the reviews, it seemed like a rather decent place. However, the big and cheap looking “SUSHI” ads in the building should’ve been warning enough that the quality of the establishment was on par to the discolored “SUSHI” signs. What can I say. The fish in the rolls was badly cut, sometimes you got a bigger piece, sometimes you got a smaller piece. The tuna wasn’t good. I got a big chunk that I didn’t manage to swallow. The “spicy” tuna roll, had just sriracha dots on top of the roll. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. I give it two stars since it’s been few days, and I didn’t get sick.
The only reasonable sushi place in Gdańsk and quite nice too. I recommend that you order sushi sets so that you can devour yourself with all the yumness that the variety will offer. Definitely go to this place if you are craving for shushi.
Nice place, spotless service, crapy food. Tried sushi : the rice was old and hard. Tried sashimi : the fish was old, soft and watery. Not recomended.
