During the afternoon the place was not that crowded and the atmosphere was relaxed. The order contained pork chop, beef cheeks and kopytka. The beef cheeks were tender and well prepared, the sauce nicely complemented the beef flavour and kopytka added a nice potato touch to the whole dish. It is a great dish for someone who is looking for a great piece of beef in a good price. The pork chop on the other hand was mediocre at best, the meat was a nice cut, but the preparation lacked a lot. The chop was under seasoned and a bit blend, roasted potatoes were way oversalted. The three salads added a nice touch to the dish. If this is the regular quality of the dish then I do not recommend the pork chop. The staff was friendly but it was hard to get their attention despite the low occupancy, at one point the staff was arguing in front of the guests. Overall a OK place to grab a dinner around the city center.

The best choice for trad cusine in Lodz. Great choices for dumplings, meat, soups in a very nice beer house style locale, with a clear polish character. If you have only one chance to dine in Lodz, come here. Do not miss it. Very good prices too.
The food was fantastic. The dishes are well done and very large. Everything was good and I ate so much I could not finish it. The atmosphere is nice, and the lighting and music makes it easy to converse over a meal. Definitely recommendes. Also, the Pszeniczne Jasne beer, with the banana aroma, is really nice.
Nice atmospher and main dish was good also. Didn't have time for desert! Nice place overall.
