It's hard to imagine so much decoration that this old wooden evangelical church contains, until you see it on your own. Interesting history goes with it. Well organized for tourists.

The church is located in Swidnica and separated by the walls. The building of the Lutheran church was finished in 1656-1657 and is added to UNESCO list. The buildings materials used are wood, straw and clay. The outside of the church is decorated in Lutheran style, as the inside. The inside is very colorful and beautiful decorated with amazing statues and vivid colors. To enter the church we paid 10PLN (2,50) it was totally worth.

Surprising blend of European history merging with religion in a well loved building. Welcoming locals and interesting audio guide in English.

I think it was the most unique and impressive building I saw in Poland. I highly recommend it, the interiors are overwhelming basing on fact it is basically a wooden church. A definitely must-see.
