Worst customer service ever, hidden charges, no transparency as to the costs and paperwork. Very lengthy service. Avoid!

Worst customer care ever, do not rent a car with them! First, before my trip, I called them to ask if I am allowed to go from Poland to Russia with their car and they did not answer their phone for 3 days. Second, they did not tell me what kind of gasoline the car uses, during my trip in Lithuania I found myself without gasoline and I was stuck at a petrol station and I was trying to reach their office in Warsaw for one hour. After I rrached the office the guy who answered the phone told me that he is not able to check that information and that he works in the office for reservations so he gave us another number which I called and nobody answered. That same number he gave me is the same number I already called to ask about trip to Russia. Third, I was thinking about extending my trip by one day so I call this guy from reservations who tells me that he does reservations but he doesn't have exact price of how much I would pay if I extended by one day so again, guess what? Yes! He gives me another phone number where nobody is answering it, so now I'm in Latvia writing this review hoping after seeing this review people will not use budget rent a car in Warsaw because they do not deserve our money.

usually I'm generous with my rating, but I can't on this occasion. I have pre-paid for the car when I booked a flight with BA and thought I have a good deal. Then I found my card was charged for 40 when I received a key and additional 90 when returned my car. No recepit has been send to my email. I have sent multiple emails asking for explanation, but got no reply. there is no customer service number to call , just an email so will report this to my bank as unauthorized transaction. Try any other car hire in Warsaw, but be wise and don't use this one.

SCAM WARNING!!! worst car rental experience ever! firstly, I was double charged for the hire (despite pre-payment) as my plane was late (I was ok with out of hours charge, but they should say it clear that 125PLN is PLUS vat!!!), and only find out about when received invoice. 6 weeks and numbers of complains later I finally received the refund, but just week ago (which is almost 2 months since the car was returned) I received a letter requesting almost 1000.00 to be paid for panel damage - estimate dated August 2019, while the rental took place in June 2019!!!!. No car handover paperwork showing the damage, no correspondence before, no return ticket or anything.

Most badly service ever. Don't have class of car i booked. Aggressively propose rent from other agency and then hardly to back money. N1 in my black list of rent agency.

Lady at the desk strongly suggested to pay for in advance for the full tank of gas. The explanation was not clear as I learned as I returned the car with a 3/4 full tank of gas and got charged for the full tank anyway. And as everyone knows gas is like gold in Poland. I called the coustumer service they did not want to hear it. Rude . I will not rent from Budget again. You can still feel the communism in Poland.
