Great place for a long walk. One mainroute with several side routes. You will easily spent all day here. Best to find parking at around 08:00. Make sure you wear apropriate footwear and have a jacket with you as the weather changes quickly in the mountains. To the lake and back is about a 4.5 to 5 hour walk. There is an option of going by horse carriage. However I heard stories of horses dying of exhaustion. For this reason we decided to not use the horse carriage. As for most touristic spots there is mass tourism. This spot will be especially busy in weekends and school holidays as parents take their kids out for a walk up the mountain. The mainpath is made of asphalt and is strawler friendly.

Very beautiful place to visit in Tatry National park! Minus is a lot of tourists all The way to, on and from Morskie oko. If you are lazy, you can use horses to get on and from the destination point.
