Had a great experience on Christmas Eve, where locals would father before midnight to attend the Christmas sermon. If you are here in Warsaw during Christmas, be sure to experience this fantastic sermon with music and hymns. The church itself is magnificent and the priests are very friendly.

The place is amazing l. You have to visit it. Very old historical arts. A lot of tourist visiting the area St. John's Archcathedral in Warsaw (Polish: Archikatedra św. Jana w Warszawie) is a Roman Catholic church in Warsaw's Old Town. St. John's is one of three cathedrals in Warsaw, but the only one which is also an archcathedral. It is the mother church of the archdiocese of Warsaw. St. John's Archcathedral is one of Poland's national pantheons and stands immediately adjacent to Warsaw's Jesuit church. Along with the city, the church has been listed by UNESCO as of cultural significance

Inside is beautiful, lot of metal and painting work. Inside the Chruch and in left side of the main entry, there is steps leading below to crypt. Not many know about this, ticket sale is by a priest in back robes, so there is good chance to miss. The crypt is well maintained, good lighting and descriptions in both polish and English. Definitely worth seeing, ticket is cheap, only 5 pln.
